'GEOPATRA' | Fine Art Print Museum-Quality Matte Paper Poster

from $65.00
GEOPATRA I feel tragedy in its densest essence advance on me lately. Because now I get to cleanly process it all. No anger, no substances, no distractions, no excuses, no noise, no venting, no soothing. Just the feeling in its purest state. A true ache, in its rawest form, not tainted with anything to intensify or null it. I had to come to this realization after its failure to get me anywhere, in any way that mattered. In the thick of the moment when I can’t control the tears from falling, I sit up tall, shrug it off, let some tears fall, then nudge myself in one direction: “where can this emotion take me?” I know where it wants to take me, but where can it take me? To a lesson? To a path? To a creative endeavour? To rest? To workout? To run? To cook? To read? To write? To an equation? To more questions? To answers? To a new way to see? What am I supposed to do with this sadness? Or any feeling at that? What am I to do with my energy? I got so BORED of it. It all began to gradually change when God called me. I figured it out. I figured it out. I began to understand that the feeling itself could become somewhere to go. Into the natural essence of the flowers, their wisdom, the darkness of gardens at night that feels like permission to be still, silent and less “on.” Into the feeling of late-night painting and graffiti, my longest love, something so expressive and mesmerizing that I’ve always felt naturally pulled toward it. GEOPATRA comes from that place: art as a way to move through feeling rather than away from it. A world that feels like an epiphany, a memory, a museum, the street, the rainforest, and being in my pyjamas with a movie, tea and a candle all at once. Calm, quiet, cozy, striking, hypnotic, exotic, natural, warm and philosophical. 250 gsm archival matte paper Acid-free and uncoated Natural off-white finish FSC-certified paper
